Repurposed Pillows

Something new can be fun but something old has character and feels more like home, as though you have spent time in the same space together. A company called Euro-Linens based out of La Selva Beach, Ca is doing a fabulous job of adapting old vintage fabrics into new modern pillows. Their pillows take sustainability to beautiful heights by repurposing grain sacks, salvaged curtains, mattress ticking and other restored fabrics. I picked up three of these for a client and loved the imperfect nuances of each piece. Look at the markings on the lower left corner of the pillow above, that’s what I mean by “character.”

Who knew that grain sacks could look so good?
